The Army, Navy, and Air Force Veterans in Canada Unit 389 will host its annual outdoor Remembrance Day Parade and Ceremony at the Grande Prairie Cenotaph on November 11th.

The parade is scheduled to depart from 104th Avenue at 10:45 a.m. with the ceremony proceeding at the Cenotaph in Jubilee Park.

ANAVETS says after the ceremony, the parade will march down 100th Street back to 104th Avenue before being dismissed.

Ahead of the ceremony, a pancake breakfast will be served at United Church. Participants are encouraged to bring cash to donate.

In addition to the ANAVETS proceedings, Bonnetts Energy Centre will play host to the Legion’s annual event at the same time as the Cenotaph’s ceremony. The legion will mark the occasion as usual, with a wreath-laying ceremony featuring various officials at 11:00 a.m. on November 11th.
