UPDATE: Highway 2 cleared after single vehicle collision

UPDATE: As of 7:35 a.m., the Grande Prairie RCMP says the collision scene has been cleared and drivers can resume travel in all directions on Highway 2 at Township 732.

The Grande Prairie RCMP is warning drivers of delays as they investigate a single vehicle collision on Highway 2 early Monday morning.

Police say the incident happened shortly before 7 a.m., on Highway 2 at Township 732 and involved a pick-up truck. Authorities say that one of the southbound driving lanes is partially obstructed causing significant delays.

More information about the collision is expected to be released.
