Water service disruptions in Hythe continue this week, county estimates project will be completed by “mid-December”

The ongoing water service disruptions in Hythe will continue this week, leaving residents without water between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

According to the County of Grande Prairie, the valve replacement project will result in several planned water outages in Hythe, with the next scheduled dates set for November 20th and 22nd.

Affected residents are those living west of 101st Avenue and south of 108th Street; however, all residents of Hythe can expect periodic disruptions during this time.

The project is entering its fifth week, and the County has confirmed an anticipated completion date set for sometime in mid-December, depending on the weather.
