GPPL hosting third annual Christmastime Pajama Ball

The Grande Prairie Public Library’s third annual Pajama Ball is scheduled for December 15th so that kids and families can welcome the holiday spirit in their PJs.

Participants are encouraged to wear their finest pajamas and come out for an afternoon of cookie decorating, crafts, storytime, and a special musical performance by children’s performer “Beppie.”

Children’s Programmer and Tours and School Liason Kate Renfree says the ball isn’t just for the kids though, and encourages everyone to get into the festive spirit during the event.

Pajama Ball is a chance to really embrace your inner child,” she says. “It’s all about coziness and community and we are so excited to host our third annual Pajama Ball.”

An invitation is not required to attend the party; however, the GPPL will make them available at the Children’s Information Desk two weeks ahead of the event for those who need a reminder of dates and times.

The event is free to attend, but participants are encouraged to bring a donation of toys, stuffed animals, or art supplies for the GPPL’s Giving Tree, in support of the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital’s Pediatric Unit.
