HFCRD offering free student tickets for upcoming NWJHL matchup

The Holy Family Catholic Regional Division is offering a special Christmas gift for students this holiday season.

According to the division, all HFCRD students will receive a free ticket to attend the NWJHL matchup between the North Peace Navigators and the Fairview Flyers on January 11th at 8:00 p.m. in the Baytex Energy Centre.

The initiative aims to bring the community together while offering students the chance to enjoy local sports. Superintendent Betty Turpin says she is “thrilled” to offer the opportunity to her students, all while encouraging the student body to relax and celebrate the season.

“At Holy Family Catholic Regional Division, we are committed to supporting
our students’ growth, not just in the classroom, but in their overall well-being and
enjoyment,” she says.

President and Director of Off-Ice Operations for the North Peace Navigators Wayne Dunnington adds that the opportunity isn’t just about hockey either, saying the partnership between his team and the HFCRD was an easy choice.

“For us, it’s not just about hockey; it’s about Building Men of Character through Hockey, Community, and Faith; so supporting the Holy Family community in this regard is a natural fit,” he says.

The free tickets will be distributed to students after the Christmas break.
