GoFundMe campaign launched for family of Whitecourt Airport shooting victim

A GoFundMe campaign has been launched on behalf of the Beauchesne family following the tragic murder of David Beauchesne near the Whitecourt Airport on December 7th.

According to police, members of the Whitecourt RCMP received reports of a shooting near the Whitecourt Airport, where they would find the 44-year-old Beauchesne deceased on the scene.

The family indicates that David was a beloved husband, father, and friend during his life, and the proceeds from the campaign will go towards supporting his family through the difficult times ahead.

“We are all truly devastated by this, Dave wasn’t just a brilliant father and husband but a pillar of our community and loved by all who crossed paths with him,” the campaign reads.
