Wondering what to do with your Christmas tree now that it’s all said and done? Aquatera might have just the answer you’re looking for.
From January 6th to January 24th, Aquatera will be collecting Christmas trees for curbside pickup; however, there are some rules residents should be mindful of.
To start, Aquatera is only able to collect real trees left outside for curbside collection. Additionally, trees must be cut to four feet or less, and all decorations and lights must be removed.
Residents are asked to place their spent Christmas trees one metre from their garbage cart, and artificial trees will not be accepted for curbside collection, but they can be deposited at the landfill.
When it comes to yard waste as a whole, there is no limit to yard waste bags that can be placed at the curb, and a full list of regulations is available on Aquatera’s website.
