November home sales down from 2023 in Grande Prairie

Home sales in the Grande Prairie region saw a decline in November, while the number of homes put on the market saw an increase.

According to the latest statistics from the Alberta Real Estate Association, over the 30 days, 98 properties were sold, a 3.9 per cent decline for the past year. While the number of new properties that went on the market saw a 19 per cent increase, with 100 new lists going up for sale.

In November the residential average price saw a 36.8 per cent bump at $394,305.

In the first eleven months of 2024, home sales are up four per cent overall, with detached homes being the top selling category.
