Slippery, low visibility conditions lead to multi-vehicle collision near Emerson Trail

The County of Grande Prairie is advising drivers to use extreme caution and slow down or avoid the area of Emerson Trail and Range Road 74 entirely due to a collision in the area.

According to reports from residents, a multi-vehicle collision has caused at least some traffic delays in the area. The county says emergency crews are travelling to the scene, but visibility is very low and roads are “extremely” slippery.

Drivers in the area are asked to watch out for traffic control personnel as traffic flow could be affected while crews conduct their work.
