Delayed Clairmont Crime Prevention Town Hall set for Thursday

The County of Grande Prairie’s Clairmont Crime Prevention Town Hall has been rescheduled after it was cancelled due to last week’s troublesome road conditions.

The event is now set for January 23rd from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Wellington Resource Centre in Clairmont.

The event hopes to offer residents and business owners some insights into crime prevention strategies, property safety measures, and where to look for local security resources.

Representatives from County Regional Enforcement Services, RCMP, and security experts will be made available to answer questions, while exhibitors like locksmiths and surveillance providers share tools and advice to help protect properties.

A short online survey is available for residents and business owners to share their concerns regarding rural crime prevention. The survey is available online on the county’s website until January 24th.
