Armed robbery at bank in Fort St. John

A bank in Fort St. John has been targeted by an armed robber. RCMP say the suspect was wearing a disguise when they entered the Scotiabank on 100th Street around 4:30 p.m. Friday.

They pulled out a weapon and made off on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. The robber is described at a man between 5’5″ and 5’8″ tall. He was wearing a bandana over his face, a black jacket, black hat, and sunglasses.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
