A state of local emergency and evacuation order has been issued for the MD of Greenview due to the serious fire near the B.C./Alberta border.
Anyone in the area south of the Wapiti River, West of Nose Creek, West of Two Lakes Road to the B.C. Border and South to Two Lakes Campground should leave immediately.
Residents are also encouraged to close doors, windows, and vents, and seek medical attention if they experience difficulty breathing.
