Thomas Robertson

This month’s Dirham Homes Community Builder is Thomas Robertson. Thomas is a 12-year old student from Derek Taylor who was instrumental in bringing a friendship bench to his school. Through door-to-door fundraising, Thomas raised enough money to build the structure, a bench that kids can use when they feel lonely, or need a friend out on the playground.
Thomas says that he was excited to see his idea come to fruition, “It felt really good to see that the bench was there and my idea was actually working. I saw people using it and it was just really cool to see that.”
