Saddle Hills County donates to Palaeontology Research Centre at dino museum

Saddle Hills County has made a sizeable donation to the Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum.

$150,000 will go towards the museum’s Palaeontology Research Centre, which will be the base of operations for year-round research and visitors from other institutions.

Reeve Alvin Hubert presented a cheque to River of Death and Discovery Dinosaur Museum Society Chair Ross Sutherland and County of Grande Prairie Reeve Leanne Beaupre Tuesday.

It’s hoped the museum will officially open next spring, if enough money is raised for the displays.
