The Downtown Association is making another push in planning for a future parkade in Grande Prairie.
Manager Helen Rice says they’re looking at the city to pinpoint a potential location so the consultant looking at the downtown area can better plan.
“It’s not something that will happen in the next probably ten years, but the longer the City delays identifying a location where one could be built, the more infill happens and the less options that there are.”
Rice says they have a few spots in mind, but they are all privately owned land, meaning the city would have to strike a deal.

City staff are preparing an administrative report on the matter.
