UPDATE #2: As of 5:58 p.m. the westbound lane has reopened.
UPDATE: Callers to the MyGrandePrairieNow.com newsroom have told us that the westbound lane has been closed and a detour is now in place. Eastbound lanes are not affected.
A crash involving two tractor-trailers is causing delays in the westbound lane of Highway 43 at Range Road 93. According to Alberta 511, traffic is backed up and drivers should expect delays.
It is not currently known when the road will become clear again.
