The WPCA Tarp Auction Gala & Fundraiser gives you an opportunity to support WPCA Drivers at the 2024 Grande Prairie Stompede, with proceeds from the fundraising initiatives supporting the Unbridled program.

Unbridled is a youth-focused trauma program. This innovative, equine-assisted learning program guides youth in building coping strategies and skills to better deal with stress and traumatic situations and supports those who have encountered a traumatic event while they work through and process the experience with the help of a mental health professional and a horse partner.
Unbridled, a partnership between the Grande Prairie Stompede Association and PARDs, was launched in Fall 2023 and is proud to have 8 active participants as of January 2024. This program and partnership are unique within Northern Alberta; both organizations are proud to be drivers behind this extraordinary, non-traditional mental health support for youth within our community.
