The City of Grande Prairie is advising drivers of traffic signal maintenance work that will result in signals being turned off at an intersection in downtown GP.Â
The Fox Creek RCMP has responded to numerous collisions in both the north and southbound lanes on Highway 43 near Two Creeks, and drivers are being asked to avoid the area as a result.Â
Grande Prairie celebrated Dry January in its own way this year, with very little snow all month long; however, the snowless streak came to an end on the 28th, prompting removal crews to begin their work once again.Â
The City of Grande Prairie's Traffic Signal Maintenance Program will begin on January 14th in an effort to preserve the effectiveness of traffic signals throughout the city.Â
