Grande Prairie celebrated Dry January in its own way this year, with very little snow all month long; however, the snowless streak came to an end on the 28th, prompting removal crews to begin their work once again.Â
Snow clearing in the County of Grande Prairie is set to resume Friday, with temporary parking restrictions going into place for the communities of Wedgewood, Taylor Estates and Maple Ridge.
The City of Grande Prairie's snow crews were unable to finish the residential snow clearing in Week B neighbourhoods originally scheduled for December 3rd, leading to delays in service.Â
The County of Grande Prairie's snow removal crews has rolled out more than 30 vehicles to ensure residents' safety on the municipality's more than 3,600 kilometres of roads.
